The annual Summer Camps are a highlight of the SaddleTramps calender.  These residential riding holidays are for unaccompanied children from 10 -16yrs.  Accomodation is on our "campsite" in large group tents which all have a perfect view of the stables, meals are all taken in our "pole barn" annexed to the stables, campers can relax in a common area next to the tack room - heaven for the horse-mad! There are hot showers and proper toilets - a little more glamping than camping!

This action packed week sees campers taking part in a huge range of activites from treasure hunts and trail rides to crafts and carriage driving, there is even a farriery demonstration. Helping to provide daily care for our team of horses is a big part of all camps - tacking up, grooming feeding and mucking out (yes that too!).  Every day finishes with a dog walk (dogs provided!) and hot cholcolate around the camp fire - toasting marshmallows is always popular.

Summer camp is a week for kids to be kids, there are no i-pods or video games (no screens at all!!!) just fresh air, room to run and homemade tasty meals. Tim is an experienced chef (he worked in several Michelin starred kitchens before making the great escape to West Wales) - dietary requirements can be discussed on booking and catered for appropriately.

Week 1: 21st-24th July, Week 2: 4th-7th August - our traditional summer camp format - a multi-activity horse camp suitable for riders able to walk and trot independently up to advanced - for boys and girls aged 10-16yrs £545pp

Camp fees include all meals, activities and a camp t-shirt

For all camps a non-refundable deposit of £150 to be paid on booking with the balance paid at least 30 days prior to arrival day - Please get in touch for a booking form, kit list etc.
